PAL Leader

Through the Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) scheme, second and third year students are trained to run weekly study sessions supporting the academic needs of first year students. PAL Leaders pass on their experience and knowledge of the course they have studied, helping others and developing valuable skills for the future. Improving your confidence whilst making a positive difference to others can help you to raise your game.

The benefits of getting involved:

  • develop teamwork, coaching and communication skills
  • get valuable experience to enhance your CV
  • gain academic credit and certification
  • make new friends
  • increase your confidence
  • this activity can count towards your UWE Bristol Futures Award
