Online resources for Year 9 students and below
We are currently working on new online resources for students in Year 9 and below, and we’ll add these here soon. While we’re working on these, we recommend you take a look at the following resources.
Future Quest is a programme for students in Years 9 to 13, giving you all you need to know about higher education and your options ahead. You will also learn about life and study skills, as well as how to develop your self awareness, self confidence and resilience. The Future Quest team are now offering all schools and colleges free access to their collection of interactive online resources, which are updated regularly. You will need to register on the website to be able to access the materials.
Open to children aged between five to 14 years old, Children’s University encourages young learners to try new experiences and develop new skills through a range of activities that take place outside of the classroom. The programme’s aim is to raise children’s aspirations and encourage motivation by developing personal skills and learning. New participants can join Children’s University at any time during the year.
Here are some example activities you can try:
- Key Stage 2 (aged 7-11 years) - Hydrological cycle exploration activity and worksheet
- Key Stage 3 (aged 11-14 years) - Labelling river landforms activity and worksheet.
Please note: these activities are Children’s University validated, but open to all students.
