Campus visits and taster days

Opportunities for your students to visit our campuses and explore university life.

We offer a range of opportunities for your students to visit us on campus and learn more about higher education (HE) and life at university.

We're committed to breaking down barriers to higher education for prospective students, particularly those from backgrounds that are traditionally under-represented in HE. As a result, we may prioritise certain schools and colleges for our on-campus activities.

Campus visits

Inspire your Year 10 and 12 students with a taste of higher education at our lively Frenchay Campus. Each visit gives a great insight into university life, helping students to explore the potential benefits of higher education and the courses available at UWE Bristol.

A typical visit itinerary includes a campus tour, interactive workshops, plus the opportunity to hear from current UWE Bristol students.

We can typically accommodate groups of up to 50 and can tailor content and timings to suit your needs. A visit to us can support your institution to achieve Gatsby Benchmark 7.

For available dates and to register your interest, email widening.access@uwe.ac.uk.

"The day went at a pace that was manageable for students and content was exactly what they needed. I can already see they’ve started thinking about going to university, which is great!"
