How to report a repairs request

  1. Step 1

Make sure you give as much detail as possible in the request including:

    • what needs repairing
    • what is wrong with it
    • where is it located?

We will also need your contact details – your name, student ID, accommodation address, a telephone number and email address.

  2. Step 2

All students have access to an online maintenance tracker. You can log in to view and check the live status of any jobs reported in your property.

To find out how quickly we will arrange for the work to be done see our repairs service standards.

  3. Step 3

Repairs and planned maintenance will be completed by UWE Bristol approved contractors. If you have reported a fault you should expect a contractor to visit. By requesting a repair, you are giving UWE Bristol and our contractors permission to enter your flat, bedroom and bathroom.

You do not need to be present in the property and Accommodation Services will issue a key for access directly to the contractor. A calling card will be left in your room when a contractor enters your room/property.
