Mail and deliveries
Information for students in UWE Bristol accommodation on mail and deliveries.
Deliveries to post boxes
Royal Mail will deliver post and small items to postboxes located at the front of each pavilion in the Student Village and to the postboxes situated outside of residences for Carroll Court and Wallscourt Park. Your post box will be identified by your flat or house number and will be secured with a padlock. You will receive your padlock code on arrival.
If you live in Purbeck Court, Royal Mail will deliver post to the Accommodation Office (1US) and the Resident Assistants will deliver this to you.
For residents living at Glenside and The Hollies all parcels are delivered to the Glenside Porters Office (1H19), the Resident Assistants will email you once your parcel is ready for collection. Collection time is between 18:30-20:00.
Couriers will attempt to contact students in the first instance either by knocking at the house or via the flat intercoms to deliver parcels. However, in the event that students are not available to take delivery, parcels will be received at the Post Room on the Student Village or at Wallscourt Park Customer Services.
You will be notified you have a parcel waiting via email, so please collect your parcel as soon as possible. Please note that, due to data protection and privacy laws, we are only able to release parcels to the addressee and on production of student ID.
It is important to remember that your parcel will not be ready for collection if you have not received an email from us as it will not have been processed, so please do not contact the post room prior to this.
If you are unable to receive an item you have ordered you can notify the Quantock parcel room, who will receive the item on your behalf. Once received, the parcel room will notify you via email.
