MOVE tai chi and qi gong activity sessions

You can take part in tai chi and qi gong activity sessions through our MOVE programme. Tai chi and qi gong helps you to find balance in body and mind. It is gentle physical exercise that calms the mind and a great way to take a break from your studies.

It stretches and opens the body, improves posture, and gives the body’s energy system a boost. It can help to combat sedentary lifestyles and promotes overall physical and mental wellbeing. It is also great for reducing anxiety and stress.

Remember to dress comfortably and wear flat (soft-soled) shoes or socks.

These sessions are suitable for beginners and intermediates.

When: These classes will be run online until week commencing 19 October 2020. From 22 October 2020 classes will resume on campus, please bring your own mat to these sessions.

Venue: The Students' Union at UWE, Frenchay Campus

Cost: Free with MOVE membership or £5 per session. These sessions are drop-in, but places will be limited so you will need to register for sessions via the app or online.
