MOVE tai chi and qi gong drop-ins

You can take part in tai chi and qi gong drop-in sessions through our MOVE programme. Tai chi and qi gong helps you to find balance in body and mind. It is gentle physical exercise that calms the mind and a great way to take a break from your studies.

It stretches and opens the body, improves posture, and gives the body’s energy system a boost. It can help to combat sedentary lifestyles and promotes overall physical and mental wellbeing. It is also great for reducing anxiety and stress.

Remember to dress comfortably and wear flat (soft-soled) shoes or socks.

These sessions are suitable for beginners and intermediates. Details of the 2020 drop-in sessions will be available soon.

Venue: The Students' Unon at UWE, Frenchay Campus

Cost: Free with MOVE membership or £5 per session. These sessions are drop-in, but places will be limited so you will need to register for sessions via the app or online.
