Russia
At UWE Bristol we are proud of our international reputation. With a thriving international community of students from over 140 countries worldwide, we are the perfect UK university to study at.
Sanctions affecting payments to the UK
Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the nature of the sanctions imposed against Russian Financial institutions, we wanted to communicate and keep our students affected by those sanctions aware of the situation. We are working and monitoring the situation together with our Banks and payments providers in order to understand the implications.
Due to VISA and Mastercard’s decision to suspend their coverage in Russia, payments made by Russian credit card are not going to be accepted through our Payment provider, Flywire. However, Bank Transfer from Russia for payers sending destination currency will still be accepted. We also strongly advise payers to work directly with their bank to understand any limitations the sanctions will have on all payments abroad.
The experienced UWE Bristol International team will be happy to give you advice on the suitability of your qualifications for your chosen course.
Qualifications listed under each heading may satisfy UWE Bristol entry requirements to that level of study. This is not a guarantee of an offer of a place, which is at the University's discretion.
