MOVE pilates activity session
You can take part in pilates activity sessions through our MOVE programme. Pilates is a holistic exercise system designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance.
Exercises involve the whole body and are performed on a simple mat. Don't worry if you haven't done it before – just come along and enjoy our drop-in class taught by our great instructors.
These sessions are suitable for beginners and intermediates. Mats are provided.
When: This activity starts in the autumn term of the 2020/21 academic year. The exact date will be available closer to the time. Sessions will run:
- Mondays at 17:00 (Bower Ashton)
- Tuesdays at 12:30 (Glenside).
Pilates classes are included in our Active Card membership (MOVE is also part of your Active Card). This membership gives you access to UWE Bristol Sport's fitness suites located on Frenchay Campus and our exercise classes, as well as squash and other UWE Bristol Sport services. These sessions are drop-in, but places will be limited so you will need to register for sessions via the app or online.
