About UWE Bristol Singers
UWE Bristol Singers is a thriving choir of students, staff, alumni and community members. Under the leadership of internationally renowned conductor Ben England and accompanist Alison Howell, the choir sings a rich programme of classical and contemporary music, with workshops, masterclasses and performances throughout the year.
- Transforming Futures - our commission especially composed for the UWE Bristol Orchestra and Singers will be recorded at the impressive Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in May 2024.
- Carmina Burana workshop day with masterclasses from our guest soloists from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, all set in the grandeur of St. Georges Bristol.
- Christmas celebrations.
- Performances at Centre for Music's annual Festival of Sound.
- Masterclasses from visiting professional singers.
Membership and registration
UWE Bristol Singers is open to anyone aged 16+. UWE Bristol students and staff simply need to register with Centre for Music to attend. Alumni and Community members need to complete the Centre for Music Membership Form which includes access to UWE Singers then pay the £75 membership fee at UWE Online Store.
