The UWE Singers is the University's biggest choir.

About UWE Singers

UWE Singers is a thriving choir of students, staff, alumni and community members. Under the leadership of internationally renowned conductor Ben England and accompanist Alison Howell, the choir sings a rich programme of classical and contemporary music, with workshops, masterclasses and performances throughout the year.

Upcoming highlights:

  • Professional masterclasses at our Feel-Good Fauré workshop - a full day to sing, learn and enjoy the beautiful Fauré Requiem
  • Performances at Bristol Beacon, St George's and Clifton Cathedral
  • Transforming Futures - our new commission especially composed for the UWE Bristol Orchestra and Singers
  • Professional recording at St Michael's church

Registration and membership

UWE Singers is open to anyone aged 16+. UWE Bristol students and staff simply need to register with Centre for Music to attend. Alumni and Community members need to complete the Centre for Music Membership Form which includes access to UWE Singers then pay the £40 membership fee at UWE Online Store.

Why not come and meet us? To join us for a rehearsal, please email Steven Legge at steven.legge@uwe.ac.uk. No formal audition is required.
