  • Unlike a traditional choir, the leadership of different songs is spread around the group and we select repertoire together.
  • Everyone is welcome – there's no audition and no previous experience is necessary.
  • Barbershop rehearse once a week on Friday afternoons.

  • We always want to hear from new players so if you are not sure you have enough musical experience then please get in touch.

  • The UWE Orchestra is conducted by Senior Lecturer in Classical and Jazz Music Enrichment, Steve Legge.
  • The UWE Orchestra welcome players of all orchestral instruments at Grade 6 standard and above.
  • UWE Orchestra rehearse once a week on Thursday evenings.

  • A choir that reimagines your favourite musicals with epic harmonies, contemporary sound and an explosion of glitter!
  • Everyone is welcome.
  • There are two identical rehearsals each week held on Frenchay Campus and Glenside Campus, and the two groups join together for performances.

  • The band is a student run group who rehearse each week leading to major concerts and competitions.

  • UWE Singers is our biggest choir directed by experienced choral director Elinor Cooper.
  • No audition is required but experience singing in a choir will be valuable.
  • UWE Singers rehearse once a week on Tuesday evenings.
