You can book a range of online music lessons from the Centre for Music (CfM).
Guitar
Cost: Free during Feel Good Fortnight to CfM members.
To secure your lesson with tutor Ash Tucker from Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol:
- CfM members: Book via the Online Store. We will then email you contact details for the tutor so you can arrange your lesson directly.
- Non-members: You will need to become a member in order to sign up. You can then purchase a lesson via the Online Store.
Ash become a professional musician after experiencing tuition under some of the UK’s premier guitarists and tutors. He studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and, after leaving the RNCM, toured the country under the release of his own album as well as with both function and original acts. His passion for helping guitarists reach their next level extends to all ages across all styles, and moving you forward in your playing journey is paramount in every guitar lesson.
Voice

Classical voice
To secure your lesson with tutor Elinor Cooper:

Elinor is currently Musical Director of Bristol University Singers, Clevedon Choral Society, UWE Singers, Spiro Singers and Assistant Conductor for the Bristol Youth Choir.
Vocal training
To secure your lesson with tutor Kim Samuel:

Kim established the Bristol-based Renewal Choir in 2005, who went on to perform in many public events such as the BBC National Music Day, Leona Lewis UK Tour and the Bristol Harbour Festival. Kim currently is currently the Director for the UWE Bristol Gospel choir.
Keyboard/piano

Alison is based in Bristol where she works as an accompanist for the Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir, Cheltenham Choral Society, Redmaids’ High Junior School Choir and the University of the West of England Singers and Chamber Choir. Alison works as an examiner for the Royal School of Church Music and also teaches piano and organ.
Saxophone/clarinet/improvisation

Keith is currently the Director of the UWE Big Band and Saxfaction. He is an experienced professional player and teacher established in Bristol.
Cello/violin/viola

Cello

Christine is a well-established cellist and is the string tutor and specialist for the UWE Bristol Orchestra.
Violin/viola
To secure your lesson with tutor Tilly Chester:

- Non-members: You will need to become a member in order to sign up. You will then be sent an email with the tutor's contact details to contact them directly.
Tilly has performed across the country and Europe and was a member of the National Youth Orchestra. She is currently a member of Paraorchestra with whom she performed with Coldplay at the London Olympics, WOMAD 2019 and Glastonbury. Tilly studied at Chetham’s School of Music and at the Royal College of Music and is currently freelancing and teaching in the Bristol area.
