You’ll get the knowledge and practice grounding you need to become a skilled social worker through small group work, simulation activities, e-learning tools, lectures and 170 days of supervised placement.
Taught by experienced and enthusiastic staff, practitioners and people with experience of social work, you’ll learn to work with service users, carers and other professionals. Use your learning to enhance wellbeing, gain the critical understanding, experience and skills to make informed judgements in complex situations, and explore contemporary issues in social work. Gain direct practice skills and experience through placements with our partner agencies and gain experience in a variety of social work roles in statutory, voluntary, private and independent organisations.
