Description
This introductory workshop provides advice for selecting what to read, tips to ensure you are reading effectively, and an opportunity to practise a technique for active reading.
There is also a How to make notes and read effectively online workbook with similar activities and content to the live workshop.
Workshop objectives
To feel more confident about:
- selecting what to read
- recognising methods for reading effectively
- applying techniques for active reading.

This workshop will take place online in Microsoft Teams – guidance on using Microsoft Teams is available. The workshop will have interactive elements and we recommend that if possible you use a laptop or PC. You may wish to use an additional mobile device or another tab in your browser for the interactive elements.
The room will be open from 10 minutes before the session start time.
