Starting university is an exciting new chapter. We're here to help you develop the skills, confidence and knowledge you’ll need to succeed throughout your studies. From your first day, you’ll have access to a range of support designed to help you make the most of your university experience.

Preparing for study

Everyone’s experience of university is different. That’s why we offer a wide range of support to help you develop your skills, achieve your goals and make the most of your time here.
Study skills
University learning brings new challenges, and developing new skills is part of the journey. Access practical tools, resources and guidance to help build confidence in writing, presentations, time management and preparing for assessments.
Academic tutor
Throughout your studies, you’ll have a dedicated academic personal tutor who can offer guidance, answer questions and help you make progress on your course.
Student Experience Coaches
Our coaches are here to help make the most of university life. They can help you talk through your goals, build confidence and access the right support – whether that’s related to your studies or life beyond the classroom.
Disability support
Support is available if you have a disability, learning difference or health condition. You can disclose your disability or support needs during your application. Sharing this early helps us put the appropriate support in place before your course begins.
Neurodiversity support
Our neurodiversity study skills sessions offer a safe space to explore how you learn best, build effective strategies and develop the confidence and independence you need to succeed at university.
