Industrial extensions to production planning and scheduling

This project was to develop and test industrial extensions to optimisation models and algorithms in production lot sizing and scheduling within industrial production planning processes, particularly in the presence of non-triangular set-ups and set-up crossovers.

The project funded by the EC FP7 and the Royal Academic of Engineering, this three year €205,200 Euro-Brazilian project exchanged research staff between UWE, University of Porto (FEUP), the University of São Paulo (USP), Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), and the São Paulo State University (UNESP).
