Generate references in the official UWE Bristol Harvard format
You should always check the returned entries before using your reference.
Hover your mouse over the [Check this field] links to view the information returned from the ISBN search and compare with the information entered into the form.
Tap [Check this field] to view the raw data from the ISBN search.
In particular, you should check the entries for 'Author' and 'Edition'.
If you need to double-check the information, clicktap the Google this book! link and compare the book details.
N.B. The ISBN search may not find your book, so you may need to enter the details manually.
The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is the 10 or 13 digit number usually printed above and below the barcode on the back of a book.
You don't need to enter the hyphens.
Omit any hyphens. If the ISBN ends with an 'X', replace it with '10'
e.g. 000736394X becomes 00073639410
If you have a barcode scanning app on your phone (such as ZXing Barcode Scanner or Google Goggles you can scan this barcode. Otherwise, enter it manually (you can leave out the hyphens).

Use 'Save for later' to gather a number of references and then email them (or save them to RefWorks) in one go.
References will be saved in your web browser until deleted, even if you leave the page or close the browser.
