Description
Earlier this year, the university published its Climate and Sustainability Plan for 2024-2026 which sets out our ambitions for the next two years. Come and hear how we are are accelerating our efforts to meet the considerable challenges posed by the Climate and Nature emergencies and how we are making progress, addressing difficulties and coming to decisions on the ways forward.
All students and staff are welcome, just email us at sustainability@uwe.ac.uk for confirmation of the room location.
The Sustainability Executive Committee meets three times a year and is chaired by Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of College (CATE), Professor Elena Marco. In terms of accountability and transparency, the committee takes its authority from and reports to the Directorate, Academic Board and the Board of Governors.
In addition, elected officers of The Students' Union at UWE report on outcomes through the governance arrangements of the Union.
See our Sustainability policy and strategy documents page for more details on Climate and Sustainability Plan 2024-2026 (PDF).
