Description
Earlier this year, the University published its Climate and Sustainability Plan 2024-2026 (PDF), which sets out our ambitions for the next two years.
Come and hear how we are are accelerating our efforts to meet the considerable challenges posed by the climate and nature emergencies and how we are making progress, addressing difficulties and coming to decisions on the ways forward.
The Sustainability Executive Committee meets three times a year and is chaired by Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of College (CATE), Professor Elena Marco. In terms of accountability and transparency, the committee takes its authority from and reports to the Directorate, Academic Board and the Board of Governors.
In addition, elected officers of The Students' Union at UWE report on outcomes through the governance arrangements of the Union.
See Sustainability policy and strategy documents for more details on the Climate and Sustainability Plan 2024-2026.
