Description
Come on down to the second floor of F Block, and see what The Maker Space has to offer both students and staff to develop their own digital skills!
We have some free lanyards, Adobe booklets, and the chance to make your own unique stickers using Adobe Express!
The Maker Space Launch Event also offers you the chance to drop in and try multiple pieces of tech, such as:
- Immersive VR headsets
- Coding Lego robots
- Taking and editing selfies
- Creating mini videos for your socials
- Coding robot heads
- Using a Go Pro to take action shots
- Coding BBC Micro:Bits
- Saving a fun-fair from Cyber Criminals!

11:00 - 15:00: Dress up Selfie Sticks - Try on some fun costumes and take some selfies!
11:00 - 15:00: Digital Cameras with Green Screen with Adobe Express - Utilise our high-end camera and green screen for creative photography edits using Adobe Express.

11:00 - 15:00: Adobe Express Demos with Creative Stickers - How could you use Adobe Express? Watch a live demonstration of Adobe Express on screen – learn quick editing tips and tricks and design stickers!
11:00 - 15:00: SPIKE Lego Robots - Dancing Lego Robots? Moving Robot Cars? Build your own creations, then try coding either using beginner friendly drag-and-drop code blocks – or if you’re experienced, have a go using Python!
11:00 - 15:00: Microbits - Explore basic coding and operate dynamic LED interfaces with BBC Microbit kits!
