You'll study core environmental challenges affecting the world today, such as the impacts arising from climate change, rapid urbanisation and insecurities surrounding water, waste management, and energy. There’s also a focus on environmental psychology, where you’ll learn to look at how people’s attitudes and behaviour can affect environmental action.

BSc(Hons) Urban Planning will equip you to design and deliver development and change, and carry out successful planning projects. You'll examine current issues such as the impact of driverless cars, and develop the skillset you need to be a future-facing, visionary practitioner.
Accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute, the course will enhance your employability, with the chance to work on live briefs across the city, with active practitioners. You'll undertake inspiring fieldwork and develop wide-ranging skills that extend from design to the financial appraisal of a project.
