Term dates
The dates below are the standard term dates for most undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For postgraduate research courses, please contact the Doctoral Academy for your term dates.
Please note that there will be some programmes that sit outside of these term dates, such as education, nursing and other health care programmes who will have their own structure for the academic year. Individual start dates are available via our preparing to study documents.
The below term dates are indicative for fee liability purposes. To determine you own tuition fee liability, please see the dates for fees liability, the UWE Bristol's 2022/23 tuition fees policy and your timetable.

Timetable publication for early starting programmes. |
Timetables for PGCE Primary, Early Years and Secondary, and Prof Law (excluding BTC) programmes will be published 23 August. Timetables for LPC and Solicitors Training Course will be available when student groups have been identified by the college. You must have started the registration process to be able to view your timetable in myUWE. |

New and returning students will take part in Starting Block, which is a series of activities to get you ready for the academic year ahead. The main term is 13 weeks long. Please note programmes may have teaching in week commencing 9 January. Please see your timetable for more information. Please refer to your personalised teaching timetable in myUWE for your teaching end date. For undergraduate students, your course will be taught during two terms, either autumn/spring or spring/summer.
