UK Data Archive
The UK Data Archive is home to the UK's largest collection of social, economic and population data. It also provides researchers with training, support and data access as a lead partner of the UK Data Service.
The UK Data Service run a programme of events and webinars to support researchers in the management of their data.
Researchers wishing to download and reuse datasets from the UK Data Service, should follow the guidance available on the UK Data Service.
Digital Curation Centre
The Digital Curation Curation Centre (DCC) are experts in curating digital research data. They offer advice and practical help to anyone who needs to store, manage and protect digital data.
The DCC Curation Lifecycle Model provides a graphical, high-level overview of the stages required for successful curation and preservation of data from initial conceptualisation through the iterative curation cycle. The model can be used to plan activities within a specific research project, organisation, or consortium to ensure all necessary stages are undertaken, each in the correct sequence.
Datatree is a self-paced research data management training course, divided into eight structured modules.
It is aimed at researchers, scientists and anyone working with data. It is funded by the National Environment Research Council (NERC), and delivered by the Institute for Environmental Analytics and Stats4SD.
