Description
This session aims to help international students better understand what is expected of them at UWE Bristol. Students will see how learning and teaching at a British university can be very different to what is experienced in many other countries. The session will provide information on the different types of classes (e.g. lectures, seminars, etc.), the teacher-student relationship, and assessments. Students will also be directed to a variety of study skills support available at UWE Bristol.
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the session, you will feel more confident about:
- the different types of classes you may experience at UWE Bristol
- the teacher-student relationship
- assessments
