Description
This session aims to help international students better understand what is expected of them at UWE Bristol. Students will see how learning and teaching at a British university can be very different to what is experienced in many other countries. The session will provide information on the different types of classes (e.g. lectures, seminars, etc.), the teacher-student relationship, and assessments. Students will also be directed to a variety of study skills support available at UWE Bristol.
This workshop will take place in person on campus at Glenside. The workshop will have interactive elements, so we recommend that you use a laptop or similar device if possible. You can access session materials beforehand from the Study Skills site.
