This workshop looks at what is meant by critical writing and provides an opportunity to review sample paragraphs.
You can access session materials beforehand from the Study Skills Blackboard course.
There is also a How to write critically online workbook with similar activities and content to the live workshop.
Workshop objectives
To feel more confident about:
- exploring what is meant by critical thinking
- identifying features of descriptive and critical writing
- analysing student writing.
