Description
The event will share and discuss research we have recently completed on employee engagement. It investigates a phenomenon called alienation which can lead to reduced job performance and negative wellbeing.
This event is for anyone with leadership or people management responsibilities and, more broadly, anyone with customer experience responsibilities given the relationship between employee motivation and customer experience.
The workshop covers:
- The causes and consequences of employee alienation
- How it varies within and between businesses
- How firms could reduce alienation by adopting some of the practices found in employee-owned firms
- How some employee-owned practices can lead to tensions if not managed correctly.
Guest speaker: James de le Vingne, CEO of the Employee Ownership Association.
