Description
Our series of business-university networking events is run collaboratively between the Bristol Business School and Future Space, UWE Bristol’s innovation centre.
The theme of this event will be sustainable finance.
Our speakers are Ed Rowberry from Bristol and Bath Regional Capital who will set the scene for sustainable finance in the South West and talk about BBRC’s mission to improve the wellbeing of people, local communities and the environment in the context of sustainable finance.
Bristol Business School’s Vasco Vendrame will position sustainable finance and talk about the context in which the Business School and academia is working on this topic.
Finally, Stuart Harrison from FinTech West will close the presentation talking more specifically on where FinTech is making an impact including green finance and investing, providing solutions to financial inclusion and enabling and encouraging sustainable behaviour.
A light breakfast of pastries and coffee and tea will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking.
If you're interested in being part of a future event, please contact cbl.engagement@uwe.ac.uk.
Experience contributions from Future Space, Bristol Business and Bristol Law Schools and the Schools of Engineering and Applied Sciences across this series of events, held on the first Wednesday of the month.
