How to buy guest tickets to your graduation ceremony.

Coronavirus update

Awards Ceremonies

Class of 2020 and 2021 Awards Ceremonies have been postponed to spring 2022 due to coronavirus. We are currently planning for the class of 2022 ceremonies to take place as normal in July and November 2022.

Buy tickets online

Class of 2020 and 2021

Once registration opens and you have received your official invitation, you will be able to register for a maximum of three guest tickets. Two will be free, one will need to be purchased for £15. You will need to register for your guest tickets before the registration deadline. Once the registration deadline has passed, guest tickets will no longer be guaranteed. Tickets must be purchased and registered through Ede & Ravenscroft.

You do not require a guest ticket to graduate, but your guests will require tickets if they wish to attend the ceremony itself and enter the post-ceremony alumni drinks reception.

You will need a credit or debit card and billing address to purchase the third guest ticket. Please click the link in your invitation email to register for your two free guest tickets and to buy your additional third ticket. The third additional guest ticket costs £15. If you register and don’t select your two free tickets, or just select one, you can return to the registration link to order your two free tickets and buy your third ticket before the registration deadline.

If you do not complete your award, your registration will be cancelled and your guest tickets will be removed and refunded. View more information on cancellations and refunds.

Class of 2022

You will need a credit or debit card and billing address to purchase guest tickets. Please click the link in your invitation email to buy a maximum of two tickets – providing this is done before the registration deadline. Each guest ticket costs £15 and the price goes towards the cost of holding the event, a souvenir programme and refreshments after the ceremony.

If you register and don’t buy guest tickets, or just buy one guest ticket, you can return to the registration link to purchase up to your two-ticket maximum before the registration deadline.

If you do not complete your award, your registration will be cancelled and your guest tickets will be removed and refunded. View more information on cancellations and refunds.

Extra guest tickets

Class of 2020 and 2021

After the registration deadline has passed, we calculate the remaining guest tickets for each Awards Ceremony.

We will contact you about additional guest ticket availability once the registration deadline has passed and if you have registered for your ceremony. If there are additional tickets, we will tell you the maximum number you can buy, when they go on sale and how long you have to purchase them. We will also let you know if there are no additional tickets available.

Additional tickets will be available to purchase online for a limited time following the registration deadline, on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have not already selected your two free tickets and purchased the additional third guest ticket at this point, please be aware that they are no longer guaranteed. Once the additional ticket window has closed you will not be able to purchase any more tickets in advance of your ceremony. This is because all tickets must be allocated ahead of the ceremonies.

Any additional tickets remaining at this point will be sold on the day of your ceremony, on a first-come, first-served basis. These will be available at the box office desk which opens three hours before your ceremony begins. Only cash payments will be accepted on the day.

Please note: Occasionally, more students will register to attend for a ceremony than we predicted. For some ceremonies, this means that we are unable to release additional guest tickets.

Transferring tickets

Tickets are not transferable. We try and make the process of allocating tickets and additional tickets as fair as possible. All guest tickets are required to be collected with photo ID, so if you transfer tickets there is a risk you will not be able to collect this ticket on the day of your ceremony. We reserve the right to withdraw tickets we know have been transferred.
