Submitting a Stage Two complaint
The second stage of the complaint procedure involves raising a formal complaint with a caseworker. Stage Two should normally only take place once an individual has attempted to resolve matters informally under Stage One of the complaint process and within 28 days (four weeks) of receiving a written response at Stage One. There may be occasions when complaints are dealt with immediately at Stage Two due to the character, complexity or seriousness of the case.
At Stage Two, cases are investigated and considered by a University caseworker within the Student Casework Team. A student submitting a complaint may wish to obtain advice and guidance from the Students’ Union Advice Centre prior to completing the Stage Two submission.
Make a Stage Two complaint
Students and staff can make a formal complaint using the Complaints Submission site.
The Complaints Submission site can be used via a number of web browsers including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Firefox but it is not possible to use it via a mobile phone.
