SpaceJunkies

SpaceJunkies was the latest project from the Science Comics team at the SCU. This time, comic creator Emma Weitkamp was joined by Dave Smith (illustrator), Ruth Hendry (Planet Science editor) and Paul Roche (Astronomer from University of Glamorgan).

Funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council, SpaceJunkies was a space related story delivered in instalments on the Planet Science website. The comics were supported by related factual content on the website. As always, Emma worked closely with young people (this time 11-14 year olds) to engage them in the creation of the comics.
