Catering on campus

Eating on campus couldn’t be easier with over 15 catering outlets to choose from. Frenchay campus has plenty of great food and drink options to keep you going throughout the day, whatever your schedule, taste or budget. From hot, freshly prepared meals and global-inspired dishes to quick grab-and-go snacks and quality barista coffee, there’s something for every moment on campus - including the popular chicken restaurant, The Grill, the health conscious Aspretto and UWE Bristol Hospitality’s restaurant OneZone. Not to mention high-street brands such as Starbucks, Subway and Costa Coffee.

So wherever you are on campus you’re not far away from quality tasty food and drinks.

Alongside our campus outlets, you’ll also find Morrisons Daily, giving you even more choice and everyday convenience right on your doorstep.

To make your visit safer and faster, all UWE Bristol hospitality catering outlets, including vending machines, are now cashless.

The Atrium – Bristol Business School building, X Block

A fresh, all-day menu made for whatever your day looks like – whether that’s a made-to-order breakfast, a quick bite between lectures, or a proper sit-down meal. With plenty of choice for different tastes and dietary needs, it’s all about great quality, local food that fits around you.
Pair it with your favourite drink from our wide range of hot and cold options – from barista-style coffee and matcha to refreshing homemade lemonades and iced teas.
And when it comes to sustainability, we’re making it easy to do your bit too. Our Lendable Cup Scheme helps cut down single-use waste – just borrow, enjoy, and return your cup to one of our purple bins so it can be washed and reused again and again across campus.

The Grill – B Block

Serving up freshly prepared favourites, from loaded fries, wraps & burgers to fresh salads with great plant-based alternatives! Designed for great value and big flavour.

This is the place to go if you want to sit in a modern yet relaxing setting, opposite a Study Zone so you can rest assured that we will keep you fuelled throughout your stay.

Onezone – E Block

OneZone is the heart of Frenchay Campus – a lively, welcoming refectory where students and staff come together to eat, relax and recharge throughout the day. It’s a buzzing social space with something fresh on offer at every visit.

With a wide range of freshly prepared food served throughout the day, OneZone makes it easy to find something that suits your taste, routine and dietary needs – all in one central spot on campus.

From bold global flavours to comforting classics, take your pick from one of our counters:
• Mezze – fresh laffa bread with falafel, chicken or halloumi, plus vibrant salads, toppings and sauces

Wild Kitchen – S Block

The Wild Kitchen business logo Our resident chef cooks and prepares fresh honest, simple, great-tasting food that's beautifully presented and wonderfully 100% plant-based, delivering both on taste and quality and designed to leave you feeling good.

We work with local providers to source quality, seasonal ingredients as much as we possibly can. We seek to promote a balanced lifestyle for our customer base with the accessibility and ease of eating vegan.

We're honoured to partner with Greener Greens, which supplies us with microgreen leaves, grown on Frenchay Campus.

Our drinks range includes a wide range of premium coffees including whole bean and ground coffee, hot chocolate and a range of teas available. Our food range covers breakfast sandwiches, rolls and filled croissants as well as cakes, cookies and pastries to suit everyone’s tastes.

Greggs – Courtyard between blocks E, F and N

For a great start to the day, enjoy a tasty bacon roll, a sausage baguette or pain au chocolat for breakfast.

When lunchtime hunger hits, order a tasty sandwich, pizza slice or salad. Sweet treats, such as doughnuts, brownies and cupcakes, go perfectly with their drinks, such as a latte, mint tea or hot chocolate.

The destination for anyone with an interest in healthy eating.

Street food community – Plaza walkway between X and Z block

We have a number of street food traders on campus, from an award-winning community called Bristol Eats. They source local and seasonable food where possible, use as little fuel as possible when cooking, and only use biodegradable disposables.
