Description
The Degree Apprenticeship Hub has successfully secured a bid from the Office for Students to expand and diversify apprenticeships. In collaboration with industry experts Dr Vanda Papafilippou and Professor Sue Durbin from UWE Bristol, we are excited to lead a workshop focused on sharing expertise and strategies for cultivating a more diverse workforce.
This practical workshop will help enhance the inclusivity of your recruitment and selection processes by exploring all recruitment stages (from job analysis and description to advertisement and shortlisting) and looking at the apprentice selection process through an intersectional lens.
The workshop will also foster a collaborative environment where participants can benefit from peer feedback and shared experiences. Please bring samples of your current recruitment and selection materials. These materials will be used in practical exercises where you can apply what you've learned, receive constructive feedback from peers and academics, and make real-time improvements.
