Description
This is a friendly and supportive session for students who are new to living or studying in the UK, and/or don’t speak English as their first language.
You’ll learn about common learning and wellbeing issues that many students experience and how these can affect your studies and daily life.
You’ll also find out what support is available at UWE Bristol and take part in relaxed activities and discussions to help you feel more confident and informed.
In some countries, these topics aren’t often talked about, but here, they are. Many students face these challenges, and support is always available.
You can access session materials beforehand from the International Study Skills Week webpage.
