Coming to UWE Bristol through Clearing

Clearing is a great time to consider your university options and secure the best course for you this September. Find out how it all works and the key dates you'll need to know.

• 2 June 2025 - Our Clearing web pages go live, so check our website from this date to get all the information you'll need to guide you through Clearing this year. 
• 5 July 2025 – Clearing opens on UCAS and our Clearing course vacancies go live.
• 14 August 2025 – A-level results day. Once you have your results, call us to secure your place through Clearing.

In the meantime, you can apply through UCAS until 30 June.

What is Clearing?

Clearing gives you the perfect opportunity to consider the best option for you starting in September 2025. Whether you change your mind about university or a course you want to take, your results surprise you or you're just starting to consider going to university at that time.

You can use Clearing to find a university place if you:

• haven’t had any offers (or none that you wish to accept)
• didn’t meet the conditions of your offer
• did meet the conditions of your offer but have changed your mind
• aren't waiting on the results of any pending qualifications
• apply after the UCAS deadline of 30 June 2025, and go straight into Clearing when it opens on 5 July.

Please note that not all courses recruit during Clearing and your preferred option may not be available.
