About us
The School of Art and Design is a thriving creative community, which has built its reputation as leading/highly-respected provider of art and design education over the past sixty years.
Situated within the City Campus, our beautiful Bower Ashton site is home to maker spaces and technical workspaces. This is complimented by inspiring city centre studio spaces at two international contemporary art centres: the Arnolfini and Spike Island.
We offer a range of courses in Art, Design Craft, and Design Communications. This includes seven undergraduate courses plus foundation level courses, and postgraduate courses in Design, Graphic Art, Multidisciplinary Printmaking and Curation. All of our courses benefit from extensive input from professional and industry specialists.
We also lead a partnership steering group with international art centres Arnolfini and Spike Island and this special alliance supports the design and delivery of our curricula, enhancing the student experience.
