About us
Welcome to the School of Arts a leading educator of creative practice, with a trusted reputation and strong ties to Bristol's creative sectors. We’ll immerse you in the city’s dynamic arts and cultural scene.
Located across two campuses, the School is spread across Bristol’s creative ecosystem. If you're based at City Campus, you'll have access to specialist maker spaces, industry-standard studios and production facilities at our Bower Ashton site. And it is also home to two international contemporary art centres, Arnolfini and Spike Island, complete with inspiring city centre studio spaces to enjoy. Our Frenchay Campus is home to a range of stimulating humanities courses, and if you're based here you'll have access to all the latest insight and technology, as well as some fantastic study spaces and a 24/7 library.
As one of the biggest creative hotspots outside London, Bristol is brimming with a huge variety of artistic, cultural and media organisations. Our partnerships with local museums, news hubs and artistic venues, including the BBC, Arnolfini, Watershed and ScreenSkills, offer opportunities for real-world learning and professional placements.
At UWE Bristol, we believe creativity powers innovation, growth and progress. We work with agile industry leaders to create new futures, developing digital and immersive technologies through our research.
