Writing support
Support is available to all foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Social Sciences to improve their writing skills.
These one-to-one sessions can help you improve your writing by:
- discussing the way you structure your arguments
- identifying how you can write clearer and more compelling prose
- helping you to understand how to present your written work better
- giving you the confidence to make the most of skills you already have but may not recognise.
You can meet to discuss your work at any stage of the process, from support with current assignments to feedback on assignments you have completed. Please be aware that this is not a proofreading service.

Appointments are free and completely confidential. They are available on Frenchay Campus in room 3B022 as well as online and last around 50 minutes.
