Jazz Ensemble
Singers and musicians play jazz, blues and funk in a smaller ensemble.
About Jazz Ensemble
A small and busy ensemble for the very best jazz musicians and singers. Led by Steven Legge and Kris Nock, the band performs a range of dixieland, jazz standards, blues, motown, and even a bit of James Bond thrown in for good measure. There are plenty of opportunities for soloists and improvisation. Open to current UWE Bristol students or by invitation.Upcoming highlights:
- Workshop at the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London
- Jazz Night at Bristol Beacon
- Performance at our annual 'Festival of Sound'

"Jazz Ensemble gave me a way back into the music scene after taking a year out when I first joined university [...] As it is one of the smaller groups you experience a closer more community like spirit making it easier to get to know the other members."
