What's included

Your room

  • En-suite: small double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and mirror. You'll have an en-suite with shower, toilet and sink.
  • Studios: self-contained flats with a double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair plus an en-suite and kitchenette for cooking.
  • Accessible and adapted rooms are available to request in Kingfisher Court.

Shared facilities

  • Well-equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer, storage cupboards and bins.
  • Shared living area with TV, sofas and a dining space to enjoy meals together.
  • Laundry facilities and bike storage.
  • Communal spaces including study and exercise spaces.
  • Internet access provided by ASK4.
  • 24/7 onsite support from Campus Support Officers.

Good to know: parking is not available at Kingfisher Court.

1. Transport links

Bristol Parkway train station has frequent trains to other stations across the UK. Either catch the Metrobus there or walk 20-minutes northward. The bus station on Frenchay Campus means there are dozens of buses to get you around Bristol, including the Metro Bus to Bristol City Centre in just 15 minutes. Get directions

2. Outdoor space

The great thing about being a little further out of the city is the access to green space. Nearby Frenchay Campus has dedicated gardens, trails and herb gardens, plus Stoke Park on its doorstep, with rolling, historic grounds only a little walk away. Get directions

3. Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants

Kingfisher Court is in Filton Retail Park near Frenchay Campus. There are a range of supermarkets, homeware shops and eateries to explore. On campus we have a Greggs and Morrisons convenience store, plus UWE Bristol refectories open throughout the year. Get directions

4. Campus community

Frenchay Campus is a hive of activity whether you're sporty, social or musical, there's always something to do in your down time. Get directions

  • Contract length: Accommodation costs are for a 42 week contract.
  • Insurance: Insurance is included in your accommodation costs, provided by Cover4Students.
  • Gym membership: You can add an annual gym membership at the Centre for Sport to your rent. The £199 membership fee will be split equally between your instalments.
