Description

This non-competitive event is about creativity, collaboration and being impactful.

It is not a technical challenge and you do not need any particular skills to take part – the more diverse the range of students, courses and life experiences represented at the event, the more innovative, insightful and impactful your ideas will be.

You will benefit from a half-day training session the week before to learn more about design thinking, innovation and creative problem solving. This is also your opportunity to meet your teammates before the event itself.

You will then come back with your team on the day of the Social hackathon to design possible solutions that will be passed back to the charity for them to develop and implement.

Previous participants have found taking part has helped their course of study and have included the opportunity on their CVs and LinkedIn profiles.

This is a real world problem and you will be having real world impact.

Registration and tickets

You must attend the training to take part in the event so please check you will be free on both days. Once we have received your application form, Georgia and Alicia from the Civic and Inclusivity Team will then get in touch with you after the application deadline with more details.
