Description
Our online reading café is a welcoming space where you can meet with library staff and other students and dedicate plenty of focussed time to your reading.
This is not a formal workshop, instead, we provide a supportive, structured space where you can read and practise some new techniques and strategies.
We will have a short warm-up chat and reflective activity. Bring along a book or article you need to read and a drink of your choice.
You can access session materials beforehand from the Study Skills Blackboard course.
Why not also come along to a Writing Café? See the Events diary and Infohub for more details.
Workshop objectives
- Introducing new techniques and strategies for reading.
- A time and space for quiet, focussed reading.
