Description
There are many websites and workshops that can tell you what to do in order to present your work well and with impact; and all of the advice that they offer will indeed be useful and true. However, knowing what to do is not the same as knowing how to do it as, when it comes to presenting, there is no one right way to do it.
This course invites you to go deeper, to explore what actually happens physiologically when you get up to present, to consider how you create impact and the practical ways you can harness all that pre-presentation energy for impactful, meaningful communication with a live audience.
Please come prepared to join in with this interactive session, and with a couple of sentences to say about your research.
By attending this course you will:
- understand the five fundamental principles of great live communication
- feel more confident presenting your research to academic and other audiences
- feel part of the UWE research community
Meet the workshop facilitator Piero Vitelli and listen to his podcast.
