Description
Research from St John’s Ambulance indicates that, in the UK, 140,000 people die each year in incidents where simple first aid may have been able to save their lives. Would you know how to help a friend or loved one if they had a medical emergency?
If you said no or would just like a refresher, drop-in to chat with St John’s Ambulance so they can change that! You will learn basic skills so you can support people during those critical minutes until professional help arrives.
This is not a formal course so you don’t need to worry about tests at the end. You can practise the skills if you want, or just watch if that is more comfortable for you. We hope you will leave feeling empowered and reassured that you could help one of those 140,000 if needed.
