Description
Open to all business, law and technology students, regardless of your year of study. This is a great chance to explore and connect with leading organisations in these sectors.
All attending organisations will be in attendance to promote current vacancies and opportunities. We are also hosting sector specific live panel discussions. Here you will have the opportunity to hear from industry professionals and ask them questions about their career path and skills development.
Why should I attend a Careers Fair?
- Find out about work experience and graduate opportunities - meet top employers ready to hire.
- Learn what day-to-day work looks like in different organisations, including their EDI support and employee networks.
- Get your questions answered - a great chance to gather insider tips for your applications and interviews.
- Build your confidence and practice networking - connections can open unexpected doors.
What can I expect?
- Meet employers informally and chat about opportunities and career paths.
- Join a live panel session - hear how industry professionals developed their skills and careers; and ask them your questions.
- If you need a break to recharge, feel free to grab a refreshment in the café.
What should I do next?
- There will be staggered timed entrances so the event isn't overwhelmingly busy.
- To ensure your place at the fair, please book one of the two pre-booked sessions. It is also okay to turn up without booking, but you must be willing to wait in a queue for a short while.
- Visit our event webpage for more information (including which employers are attending).
- Research employers to find out who you might want to meet. This is not essential but a little research on employer's webpages really does help with your confidence when approaching an employer on the day.
- Prepare your CV - having your CV ready will help! Look at our CV examples or use CV360 to check your CV.
We can't wait to welcome you to the event!
