Description

The 11th Appearance Matters Conference will take place between Tuesday 9 June and Thursday 11 June 2026 in Bristol, the home of the Centre for Appearance Research at UWE Bristol.

The programme will also include a range of symposia, oral presentations, short talks, poster presentations and roundtable discussions. There will also be an early career workshop and Ignite session.

Keynote speakers

Dr Zali Yager, Executive Director of the Embrace Collective and adjunct Associate Professor at the Institute for Health and Sport at Victoria University
Phyllida Swift, appearance activist and CEO of Face Equality International
