Description
Join the NetDRIVE community in Bristol from 4 to 6 November 2026 for three days of discussion, collaboration and action focused on building a more sustainable future for digital research infrastructure.
Hosted by UWE Bristol's Digital Cultures Research Centre at Watershed on Bristol's Harbourside, the gathering will bring together researchers, research technology professionals, infrastructure providers and sustainability practitioners from across the sector.
Through talks, demonstrations, interactive workshops and networking opportunities, participants will explore emerging research practices, share lessons learned, identify barriers to coordinated change, and develop practical next steps for advancing sustainable research computing.
The event aims to strengthen the NetDRIVE community's collective capacity to drive transformative change while connecting its work to wider environmental and sustainability initiatives.
Whether you are actively working on sustainable computing, interested in reducing the environmental impact of research infrastructure, or looking to collaborate with others across the sector, the NetDRIVE Autumn Gathering offers a valuable opportunity to learn, connect and shape future action together.
