Emergency Care Incubator Symposium

Description

The NIHR-supported Emergency Care Incubator invites healthcare professionals working in urgent and emergency care to join us for our 5th interactive symposium. Designed to support both aspiring and developing researchers, the symposium offers tailored small-group workshops led by experienced multi professional clinical researchers. This is an opportunity to build research skills, connect with peers, and explore new ideas in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Sessions include:

• Getting started with grant writing and Fellowships
• Building inclusive research
• Getting started with funding applications and fellowships
• Getting the best out of collaboration and mentorship
• Getting published
• Navigating research careers

This year we have partnered with the RCEM RED day, which is happening on the 10th November at the same venue.

Accessibility

The Watershed main entrance is accessible via a ramped, electronically assisted entrance door. The first floor of Watershed where the event is taking place is accessible via the lift from the main entrance and includes level access to all areas.

There are two accessible toilets (with baby changing facilities). One in the top foyer, beside the main toilets. Our toilets in the top foyer are for everyone - some of the fully enclosed cubicles have a sink and mirror in them, some are ambulant (a bit more spacious with supports such as grab rails) and there is also a large family room with plenty of room for a buggy. Just through the Café & Bar we still have separate male and female toilets.

Guide dogs and hearing dogs are very welcome.

The Watershed staff are trained in Deaf awareness and basic BSL.
