To find out which campus you should visit, please check your event ticket. Then you'll be able to view campus-specific travel information depending on your course of interest.

Frenchay Campus

Public transport

  • Bristol Parkway is the nearest train station to our Frenchay Campus. We’ll be running a free shuttle bus service to pick you up at Bristol Parkway station from 08:00 until 12:30. Returns to Bristol Parkway station will run all day until 16:00.

Parking

  • Once you register, we'll email you during the week leading up to the Offer Holder Event with information about which campus entrance to use – North or East. Or check your session information on your tickets before you set off, for your campus and sign-in information.
  • Parking is free. You do not require a permit or pay and display ticket.

Bristol Parkway is the nearest train station to our Glenside Campus. We’ll be running a free shuttle bus service to pick you up at Bristol Parkway station from 08:00 until 12:30. Returns to Bristol Parkway station will run all day until 15:30.

  • Please use this postcode: BS16 1DD.
  • Parking is free and our friendly staff will be there to guide you on the day.

City Campus - Bower Ashton

Public transport

  • The nearest train station to our Bower Ashton Campus is Bristol Temple Meads. We’ll be running a free shuttle bus service to pick you up at Temple Meads station from 08:00, then every 15 minutes until 09:45. Please look for our Student Ambassadors outside the station. Returns to Temple Meads station will run from 12:00 until 15:00. 
  • There’ll also be free shuttle buses to our city centre student accommodation. You’ll receive a timetable on the day.
  • If you’re coming by coach, please check the TravelWest website for timetables and routes. 

Parking

  • There's a car park available at our Bower Ashton Campus on a first come first served basis.
  • Alternatively, you may park at Ashton Court Mansion for £1.20 for the day. This is a short walk (approx. 5 mins) from our Bower Ashton Campus.

Arnolfini at City Campus

The nearest train station to our Arnolfini site is Bristol Temple Meads. We’ll be running a free shuttle bus service from 08:00, then every 15 minutes until 09:45. Please look for our Student Ambassadors outside the station. Returns to Temple Meads station will run from 12:30, then every 15 minutes until 14:30.

There’ll also be free shuttle buses to our city centre student accommodation and Bower Ashton Campus. You’ll receive a timetable on the day.

  • The Arnolfini is based in the centre of Bristol and there’s no free parking available.
  • For parking options, please visit the Parkopedia website.
  • Or alternatively, you can park at the Long Ashton Park and Ride and take the M2 bus to Whapping Wharf and a short walk across Princes Bridge.

City Campus - Spike Island

The nearest train station to our Spike Island site is Bristol Temple Meads. We’ll be running a free shuttle bus service to pick you up at Temple Meads station from 08:00, then every 15 minutes until 09:45. Please look for our Student Ambassadors outside the station. Returns to Temple Meads will run from 12:30, then every 15 minutes until 14:15.

There’ll also be a free shuttle bus to our city centre student accommodation and Bower Ashton Campus. You’ll receive a timetable on the day. If you’re coming by coach please check the TravelWest website for timetables and routes.

  • Spike Island is based in the centre of Bristol and there’s no free parking available. 
  • For parking options, please visit the Parkopedia website.
  • Or alternatively, you can park at the Long Ashton Park and Ride and take the M2 bus to Spike Island which drops you directly outside the building.

Bristol Zoo

Our Integrated Wildlife Conservation FdSc/BSc(Hons) course is run at Bristol zoo Gardens.

Public Transport

Clifton Down is the nearest train station to the zoo. You can also arrive at Bristol Temple Meads station and catch a number 8 First Bus to the zoo. Bus number 8 stops right outside and is your easiest public transport link.

Parking

  • Please use this postcode: BS8 3HA.
  • The zoo has use of two car parks. Please note that parking is limited and they cannot guarantee you a space.
  • There is a £4 charge for parking.
  • There is also limited on-street parking nearby.
