Foundation Health Professions

Your interview will last approximately 30 minutes and will take place online.

You will be interviewed by a panel consisting of representatives from both City of Bristol College and the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences.

BSc Diagnostic Radiography

Your interview will last approximately 20 minutes and will take place online.

You will be interviewed by a member of the Diagnostic Radiography team. Interviewers may also clinicians and service users. During your interview you will be asked about your knowledge and understanding of Diagnostic Radiography, in addition to questions relating to skills and values that are required to be a Diagnostic Radiographer.

You can expect to receive a decision within two weeks of your interview.

BSc Paramedic Science

Your interview will last approximately 30 minutes and will take place online.

You will be interviewed by a member for staff from the Paramedic Science academic team. Interviewers may also include clinicians and service users. During your interview you will be asked about your knowledge and understanding of Paramedic Science, in addition to questions relating to skills and values that are required to be a Paramedic. You will also be given some scenarios to consider and questions will be asked during your interview on your response to these scenarios.

BSc Radiotherapy and Oncology

Your interview will last approximately 20 minutes and will take place online.

You will be interviewed by a lecturer from the Radiotherapy and Oncology programme. Interviewers may also include clinicians and service users. During your interview you will be asked about your knowledge and understanding of radiotherapy, in addition to questions relating to skills and values that are required to be a therapeutic radiographer.

BSc Optometry

MSc Physician Associate Studies

You will be interviewed by a member/members of the Physician Associate programme team, along with a service user, clinician or another member of our professional services team.

Your interview will last approximately 30 minutes and we will ask you questions to explore your inspiration and motivations to train as a Physician Associate, your understanding about the role, and the skills, values and attributes which you feel that you possess which will make you a strong candidate for the programme. We will also discuss your previous healthcare experience, be that in a professional role, work experience or clinical shadowing. You will also be presented with some scenarios and asked questions about how you might respond to these situations.
