Description

As part of Green Fortnight 2026, staff and students are invited to a screening of The People's Emergency Briefing on Thursday 12 November at 15.30, followed by a facilitated discussion exploring the implications for higher education, healthcare, professional practice and our wider communities.

The film brings together leading UK experts to present an accessible, evidence-based overview of the climate and nature crisis, including impacts on health, food systems, economics and society. The session offers a valuable professional development opportunity to deepen understanding of sustainability challenges and consider how climate literacy can inform our teaching, practice, research and decision-making.

The event aligns with UWE Bristol's commitment to sustainability and Green Fortnight's focus on learning, reflection and collective action.
