Eligibility to attend graduation
The criteria for taking part in a graduation ceremony.
Eligibility criteria
We send an email to all provisionally eligible students inviting you to your ceremony.
The ceremony series you're invited to depends on the course you complete and when your results are confirmed by the award board (when your final grade is confirmed).
To attend graduation you must:
- Complete and pass your award by the award board dates applicable to each ceremony series
- Clear any tuition fees and debts
- Book your place to attend by the deadline.
Resits and retakes
You will receive an email in September inviting you to a November graduation ceremony.
How to check your award status
- Check award boards and results publication dates.
- Log in to MYUWE to check your award board dates.
Book your place before receiving your results to ensure you can attend.
Check ceremony series by award board date
Graduation ceremonies take place in July and November.
Your level of study and when your award board confirms your results determines which ceremony series you'll be invited to.
